The house features Ludowici clay roof tiles, in the home's original French style, that were purchased from a company in Ohio. Chico Villamore restored both fireplaces with period tile. The home's original glass and brass doorknobs are nearly all accounted for, but there had been many other alterations of the house over the years. The sliding glass doors and windows on the south side of the building were replaced with an ADA compliant ramp using materials in the same 1913 Arts & Crafts style.
